Glory rapisce Dawn e Buffy sente tutto il peso del mondo crollare sulle sue spalle, cade in catalessi e Willow la riporta alla realtà. Buffy si sacrifica per salvare Dawn e il mondo, Willow la resuscita. Viene strappata dal paradiso e si ritrova di nuovo il peso del mondo sulle spalle, infine Willow e Spike la aiutano a condividerlo con le altre cacciatrici.
Glory kidnaps Dawn and Buffy feels the weight of the world on her shoulders. she falls into a catatonic state and Willow brings her back. Buffy sacrifices herself to save Dawn and the world, Willow brings her back again from heaven. She has to bear the weight of the world again, in the end Willow and spike help her to share it with the rest of the slayers. |

le potenziali cacciatrici e i suoi amici perdono la fiducia in lei e trovano in Faith una nuova leader.
La cacciatrice non può più essere una sola e unica e trova la soluzione nel suo stesso potere.
The final battle is approaching and Buffy needs to make hard choices that lead to some disasters.
All the potentials slayers and her friends lose faith in her leadership to find it in the other slayer Faith.
Buffy can't be the only one anymore and she finds a solution in her inner power. |

Prima di sacrificarsi, Doyle bacia Cordelia passandole il suo dono, ovvero la capacità di avere delle Visioni mandate dalle Forze Dell'Essere. Con questo gesto d'amore e di fiducia condanna la ragazza che, essendo umana, non regge un tale potere. Soltanto diventando demone per metà Cordelia può sopravvivere, ma non sa che in realtà il demone in questione ha intenzione di sfruttare il suo corpo per poter rinascere e attraverso la garvidanza Cordelia cade in coma.
Before his sacrifice Doyle kisses Cordelia and transfers his gift to her. She gets the visions sent by The Powers That Be, but they are too strong to bear for a human being. She lets a demon inside of her so she can bear them but she doesn't know that its plan is to born again through her body. During the delivery Cordelia falls into a coma.

Gunn firma un permesso per portare un sarcofago nel laboratorio di Fred, non preoccupandosi dei dettagli. Nel sarcofago ci sono i resti di un demone primordiale, Illyria. Fred lo apre e ne respira le spore. Poco a poco Illyria distrugge il corpo di Fred per prendere il sopravvento e ucciderla. E' immortale e la sua enorme potenza non può restare in un corpo umano e nel tempo terrestre, questo crea non pochi problemi.
Not knowing what he is doing, Gunn signs the permission to bring the tomb of a primordial demon into Fred's lab.
She inhales its spores and the demon takes over her body, killing her.
Illyria finds herself in a human bod and in the earthly limited time, she can't contain her power and this is a serious problem for the gang. |
